Despite intensive efforts by law enforcement, no one was ever charged with her murder, and her case remains unsolved and cold after 25 years.  Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the case of the murder of Barbara Barnes. Police initially looked hard at a member of Barbara's family because her body was found 40 miles outside of town but just about a mile from a parcel of land owned by this family member. The Chicago Strangler

The Chicago Strangler is a name given to one or more individuals who are believed to have murdered at least 51 women in the Chicago area between 2001 and 2018. It's impossible to know how many people are involved but many people question why, with all of the advancements in technology, these cases are still unsolved. There are some that say it's apathy on the part of the Chicago police department and that they have failed to fully investigate the crimes. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the perpetrator (or perpetrators) known as the Chicago Strangler. This is a tough case because the police have not given out much information. They are not convinced that these homicides are connected although the M.O. in many of these homicides is very similar. Tina McMenamin

In 1995, 18-year-old Tina McMenamin was a college student at the University of Nebraska. She was living in an apartment with her childhood friend, going to school, and working at Godfather's pizza. On Tuesday, July 25th of that year, Tina failed to show up for her shift at work and was later found dead inside her apartment by her roommate. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the murder of Tina McMenamin. The investigators determined that the window for Tina's killer to strike was a very small one. But, they could not piece together a motive or zero in on the perpetrator. Based on DNA results in 1996, which could only limit the pool of suspects down a small degree, the police arrested a man named Gregory Gabel. Gabel had been diagnosed with schizophrenia and did have a history of being inappropriate with women. But, was he Tina's killer?
