PlayStation removes Cyberpunk, Xbox offers full refunds

Thanks to ExpressVPN for sponsoring our channel http://expressvpn.com/inside Cyberpunk 2077 has been delisted from the PlayStation Store, Microsoft has officially confirmed it will provide refunds to anyone who purchased the game, and CD Projekt Red has said they will refund retail copies of the game at their own expense. The onslaught of Cyberpunk 2077 drama continues to pour in and Sony removing the game from the PlayStation Store is something that will go down in a blaze of video game history infamy. Some versions of the game are running just fine but there’s been a massive amount of threads and personal anecdotes about Cyberpunk underperforming and crashing on the PS4 and PS5. It’s not a great look for Sony or their newest piece of kit in the PS5 and their track record for customer support and returns hasn’t been great in the past so it’s safe to say CDPR might have earned a little bit of eyre for their latest antics. Our hearts go out to the developers caught up in this, working rigorously trying to make things right when they were probably already crunched to get things done in the first place. Hopefully, the game gets fixed and returns to the PlayStation Store EVENTUALLY but not at the human cost it would take to accomplish such a feat over the break. New Twitch rules ban ‘simp,’ ‘incel,’ and ‘virgin’

Thanks to ExpressVPN for sponsoring our channel http://expressvpn.com/inside Twitch has recently updated its terms of service and one change people seemed to have noticed right away is that the contextual use of the words ‘simp,’ ‘incel,’ and ‘virgin’ will not be permitted on the platform. There’s been a long history of Twitch and it’s off & on approach to their terms of service as well as the enforcement of it so people haven’t missed the opportunity to take the company over its selection of these words specifically.  To make matters worse people are still upset about the massive removal of Twitch vods due to a sudden update in regards to Twitch’s approach to licensed music. Thousands of videos were issued DMCA claims and promptly removed. This might have been a good opportunity to address those issues as well. In the past Twitch hasn’t been the best about responding to claims of sexual harassment within its community so its nice to see them finally trying to tackle the issue but it’s probably going to take a lot more than a few banned words. We’re hoping for the best on today’s edition of Inside Gaming but between the DMCA issues, the nature of harassment on the internet, and Twitch’s relationship with the military this past year we aren’t holding our breath for any immediate changes. Cyberpunk 2077's problems went from bad to worse
