Why Haven't You Called Out the $50 Billion (Elephant in the room) Person?You already know which two people in your organization cannot respect each other. Everyone works around them. Nobody has quite said it out loud. The off-sites did not fix it. The restructuring did not fix it. The dysfunction is still running.MIT Sloan puts the annual cost of that dynamic at fifty billion dollars, in the US alone. Not morale. Dollars.Today's guest, Bobby Bakshi, was born in India, raised across multiple countries including Jamaica, and arrived in the United States as a proud Indian American. At twelve years old, alone as an unaccompanied minor on a Pan Am flight across the world, he learned what he now teaches senior executives at Fortune 500 companies. How to navigate difference without a map. At Microsoft, that skill saved the company $14 million in vendor costs by bridging the cultural divide between US and India teams in a way that actually changed behavior. Most organizations still classify what he did as a soft skill.Bobby created The Respect Quotient, a seven-step structured intervention built on a single conviction. Before you can trust someone, you have to respect them as a human being first.He also spent a decade doing his own inner work through The Mankind Project. In this conversation, he names on record the specific shadow he did not expect to find in himself.

Topics include:The fifty-billion-dollar cost of workplace

Disrespect; the seven steps of RESPECT (Recognize, Empathize, Spaciousness, Prioritize, Empower, Commit, Transform);

The Monday morning move with the executive nobody can stand; the values Enron etched into marble; the three-circle framework

Bobby would carry into a room of AI CEOs; and the moment at twelve years old on a plane that quietly built everything he teaches now.

Connect with Bobby: bobby@bobbybakshi.com | LinkedIn: bobbyb | Podcast: Leading With RespectConnect with Dov:Website: https://DovBaron.comApply to work with Dov: dovbaron.com Email: dov@dovbaron.comWe sincerely appreciate it; please rate, review, and subscribe.
