She also holds a Bachelors Degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Virginia. Prior to returning to school, Laura worked as a Systems Engineer specializing in Risk Management for the Federal Aviation Administration. Most notably, she led 200 risk management efforts impacting programs worth $1.68B per annum. She also holds her Private Pilot License. In her free time, Laura likes to fly, play with her pet cat Moocka and dog Thea, bake, and kickbox.</p><p></p><h3>
