The guys from Dawgman.com - Kim Grinolds in Ann Arbor and Chris Fetters and Scott Eklund in <a href="https://247sports.com/college/seattle/">Seattle</a> - caught up postgame after Washington's 24-7 loss to <a href="https://247sports.com/college/michigan/">Michigan</a>, a game where anything that could have gone wrong for the Huskies did. And then when it seemed to go right, the nature of the brutal battle turned those tiny wins into Pyrrhic victories due to injuries.
Three offensive players - starting left tackle <a href="https://247sports.com/Player/maximus-mccree-46115863/">Maximus McCree</a>, starting tight end <a href="https://247sports.com/Player/quentin-moore-46049787/">Quentin Moore</a>, and backup tight end <a href="https://247sports.com/Player/kade-eldridge-46118361/">Kade Eldridge</a> - all went down with first half injuries and Washington Head Coach <a href="https://247sports.com/Coach/jedd-fisch-1201/">Jedd Fisch</a> said postgame that the prognosis for all three in terms of coming back to play soon wasn't good. In fact, McCree is now out for the year with a foot injury.
