This past week prominent right wing twitter poster, Jennica Pounds (DataRepublican), got paranoid after being handed documents by the State Department, leading to the revelation  that the Pentagon is employing conservative influencers as “special government employees.” Travis details Pounds’ history and the events that led up to her legal illiteracy failure. Later we welcome back Will Sommer for his 10th appearance on the pod to discuss his reporting on the matter and what we know about these special government employee influencers and the role they may be playing in the Pentagon.
