<blockquote><p>It was a quiet Monday morning on Ahway Island. Sylvia Sled hung from her big hook on the wall in her cozy garage, gazing out the small window across from her. Sylvia smiled to herself. Thick, fluffy snowflakes drifted down past the window. Thick snow meant it would stick to the ground. Snow that stuck could pile up. And piled-up snow meant one thing: sledding! Sylvia couldn’t be happier. She loved sledding more than anything, and today looked like it might be a perfect sledding day.</p>
<p>As Sylvia looked outside, she heard the house door open. Then came the whoosh of the garage door rising up. Sylvia watched as Theresa, Joe, and their mom stepped out of the house. The kids were bundled up and had backpacks on their shoulders, ready for school.</p></blockquote>
