This week on Far From Perfect, I'm talking to Andrea Wool, she created 'Autoimmune Strong'. She is hear to rewrite the script on how to navigate life with autoimmune issues. She created this program from going through autoimmune conditions herself, it took almost 2 years for her to get a diagnosis. She quit her corporate job to fully focus on herself and to help others. We discuss various autoimmune conditions and what you can do to help, stress being a huge part of this. She talks about 'flare ups' and what that means and what it can look like, acute or chronic. Her main goal is to help you thread the needle. Everyone's body is different!

80% of people with autoimmune are women and there are lots of theories as to why and she talks us through a few of those.

In terms of nutrition, Food is not the enemy its our ally! We need to create and support a good foundation to work up and new flash its not about eating less!
