In 2014, a group of researchers reanalyzed the data used to set the current vitamin D RDA. They found that instead of 600 IU per day, we actually need 8895 IU of vitamin D every day!This recalculation was confirmed by other independent research; yet, to this day, it has been completely ignored. “Forbidden Facts” by Gavin de Becker exposes some of the health controversies surrounding the Institute of Medicine. They’re viewed as the top scientific authority that is supposed to protect us, but who are they really trying to protect? Vitamin D isn’t just for your bones.
