"I Am Going To Die"
For Kelly, the memories remain crystal clear.
"December 16, 2019 was the date of the domestic violence attack. I can still vividly remember thinking and feeling... I am going to die."
The violence wasn't spontaneous.
Looking back, Kelly believes the abuse had been carefully built through manipulation, deception, coercive control, and isolation. Everything began changing on August 6, 2020.
That was the day Kelly met Stella.
Not just any dog.
A professionally trained German Shepherd personal protection dog.
These highly specialized canines often cost anywhere from $15,000 to well over $175,000, depending on their level of executive or family protection training, obedience, experience, and age. "I've got you now."

A New Purpose Emerges
Kelly's journey didn't stop with Stella.
She later welcomed another German Shepherd named Luca.
Unlike Stella, Luca entered her life as an eight-week-old puppy.
Kelly trained him in Schutzhund, the internationally recognized working-dog sport centered on obedience, tracking, and protection.
