With Unexplained on a short break we're dipping into the archives again. This week&rsquo;s story is a true ghost of Christmas past, reaching out to us from almost 124 years to the day. It was late one night on December 26th 1900, when a telegram was received by the Northern Lighthouse Board. It was sent by a member of a rescue crew, dispatched to the Flannen isles, the site of the UKs most remote lighthouse, located way out in the Atlantic, beyond any sign of civilisation.&nbsp; They were sent to investigate why the light was no longer shining, The telegram read: A dreadful accident has happened at the Flannans.
