I am starting a new (bonus) series of podcast episodes! This is going to be me reading to my husband Chinese stories before going to sleep, from one of my favorite author Sanmao! Sanmao (三毛, 1943–1991) was a Taiwanese writer known for her travel literature and deeply personal essays. We will read from her most famous work, Stories of the Sahara (《撒哈拉的故事》), recounts her life with her Spanish husband José in the Western Sahara.
