He had been growing a lot recently, and by now he felt a bit squished in his egg. He could hear grown-up turtles talking outside his shell from time to time, and he heard a strange rushing noise that he couldn’t identify. Oh, he wanted to get out and see the world!</p>
<p data-start="428" data-end="628" data-is-last-node="" data-is-only-node="">Tomás chirped to the other eggs to see if they were ready too. He listened for a response. One chirp sounded, then another. All the other little turtles agreed, saying, “Not yet. It’s too warm. Wait.”</p>
