What makes a horror movie a Halloween classic? Director Ben Sottak and Hereditary star Milly Shapiro join Bloody Good Horror to discuss Hallowarrior, Shudder's new post-apocalyptic horror film that combines gruesome violence, Halloween nostalgia, and an unexpectedly hopeful coming-of-age story.

Milly discusses playing Pumpkin, taking on a physically demanding role, and finding the balance between the character's haunted exterior and infectious optimism. Plus, we talk horror influences, found family, and what it means to be in one of the best horror films of all time.
