After coming to faith in Christ, she shocked her parents by announcing her call to the mission field.When it came time for her placement, Maud asked to go to one of the most dangerous and unstable countries in the world — the Democratic Republic of Congo. Despite facing rebel attacks, robberies, and primitive conditions, Maud flourished among the Congolese people she came to love so deeply.Her story is a powerful reminder of what God can do through a life fully surrendered to Him.</p>
