To put it into perspective, there’s about 120 firearms per 100 people in the United States. It may feel like we have no control over making changes, but there are steps that we can take. The number one place to start is educating ourselves about gun violence. In this episode Dr. Katelyn Jetelina and I discuss statistics, demographics of shooters, how the stats in the United States compares to other countries, and so much more. Dr. Katelyn Jetelina is a violence epidemiologist, biostatistician, wife, and mom of two little girls.
