“There is a battle for our affections.” In 1 Corinthians 10, we are reminded how easily the Israelites fell into idolatry and temptation despite the miracles they saw God perform and how He provided for them each step of the way. And yet, we too are sheep who are easily led astray by our flesh and the desires of this world.
