As some of you know, I'm working on a television show. Today, I'm going to share this experience as a guide to help you in building the life and legacy that you want for yourself. The show is called Breakthrough, and it’s about breaking through old patterns of thought that have been holding people back. Next week, you’ll get to hear from my friend Kristina Knapp who has been a guest on the show before and is featured in the pilot episode.  Being part of this show has been an amazing experience for me. I’m excited to share the breakthrough that Kristina experienced. She had always wanted to learn to dance, but beliefs were holding her back. The exciting part is that her breakthrough was about so much more than learning to dance. This week, I’m going to share with you how this opportunity came about and the power of being present.  Episode Highlights:  <ul> <li dir="ltr">[01:25] I'm going to be hosting a show called Breakthrough on a station that's available on Amazon and YouTube. The show is about people breaking through old thought patterns in order to achieve something that they've always wanted to achieve.</li> <li dir="ltr">[01:48] In the first season, we have a woman who always wanted to learn to dance, a woman who always wanted to be an actress, a woman who has been afraid to learn to cook, and a gentleman who always wanted to learn to play the piano.</li> <li dir="ltr">[02:09] In each episode, you can watch them overcome all of the thoughts and obstacles that have prevented them from doing what they actually wanted to do.</li> <li dir="ltr">[03:46] Getting what you want includes focusing on mindset and being, becoming, and showing up.</li> <li dir="ltr">[04:16] I didn't ask to host a TV show, it quite literally fell in my lap.</li> <li dir="ltr">[04:54] I received an email from my website contact form. It was a producer who wanted me to speak with her about hosting a life coaching show she was developing. </li> <li dir="ltr">[05:27] I was skeptical, but I did some research and responded.</li> <li dir="ltr">[06:02] She had been looking for someone to host the show and found my Instagram. She found me because I was there.</li> <li dir="ltr">[07:13] Is there an area of your life where you are beginning to question what the point is?</li> <li dir="ltr">[09:13] I was approached to do a series for the Calm app from a woman who found me on LinkedIn. This came to me because I was present. I was being and becoming.</li> <li dir="ltr">[10:39] It's not about you. Putting use to your gifts with pure intention is when success comes. It comes without chasing it.</li> <li dir="ltr">[11:20] Homework: Know what your gift is. Write it down. Find ways to use your gift. </li> <li dir="ltr">[12:45] Figure out how to show up brightly.
