James is a Professor of Psychology at Clark University and the Director of the Relationship Checkup Program in Worcester, Massachusetts. In this interview we discuss what it actually takes to maintain intimacy over time.When we begin a relationship, it’s pretty darn wonderful,.. but as many of us know AS the years go by, the rough patches begin to crop up. We become vulnerable.
