<p>“Yes,” Bert agreed before taking another bite of a berry. Gerry, too, continued to eat. Another crack of thunder exploded in the distance, then a streak of lightning flashed across the sky. Both birds looked up for a moment, then ducked back down to continue to eat.</p></blockquote>
