While Lyssa and Colwyn fall immediately in love, their wedding is crashed by The Beast's forces, the Slayers, and Lyssa is kidnapped. Colwyn sets out on a quest to rescue her, which includes recovering the ancient weapon known as The Glaive and gathering a group of companions, which consists of a band of thieves, a cyclops, and an inept magician.
