Newell Brands, the Atlanta-based maker of dozens of household brands including Rubbermaid, Coleman and Yankee Candle, paid more than $170 million in tariffs last year. Newell’s CEO Chris Peterson tells <a href="https://www.wsj.com/news/author/jessica-mendoza?mod=WSJ_TJPOD">Jessica Mendoza</a> that those tariffs hurt business and the company <a href="https://www.wsj.com/us-news/law/the-130-billion-race-for-companies-to-get-their-tariff-money-back-1dcc5123?gaa_at=eafs&gaa_n=AWEtsqfO4adhFwhXc0Noac7SR9gujif7HInPXy822qDKjldnDGala1DfjcmwZapK4Ls%3D&gaa_ts=69a09aea&gaa_sig=nKu7M7sgyfo0tRtfsr_rhax6xV-8-s5qduTIHhSH_Y-SB85yi1IBYNDjkTnvVM5VeJrM_-_YyoJCGvXDWtPN9g%3D%3D?mod=WSJ_TJPOD">is considering requesting a refund</a>. He also talks about plans to bring more manufacturing to America.
